Shoreline Properties history with Constellation Pointe real estate formed at the very beginning. Shoreline Properties founder, Karen Keating, helped close the original land purchase and was a player in Constellation Pointe real estate since its inception.
Keating has said, “I will never forget the first time I went to Constellation Pointe in October of 2003. I travelled there from South Shore Harbour by dinghy and the fish wouldn’t stop jumping into the boat! I was thrilled and excited to be part of something new.”
Constellation Pointe was developed as a gated community of seventeen waterfront estate lots, and eighty-three smaller water view lots. Real estate legend William “Mitch” Mitchell brilliantly developed a land plan that maximized use of the narrow peninsula. Constellation Pointe is bordered on one side by the famed “Thermometer Cut”, and on the other by still undeveloped Constellation Pointe marina. The floating dock-o-miniums on the thermometer cut are frequently included with real estate sales of both homes and lots.
With approximately thirty home sites remaining, those looking to build their custom waterfront home can still find opportunity in Constellation Pointe real estate. Largely a neighborhood of high end custom homes, Constellation Pointe didn’t flood and had very little damage during Hurricane Ike.
